It seems rather offputting to me, cause if Gyro saved Boyd's original programming, the eye color shift shouldn't have happened. As seen in the flashbacks, Boyd's eye color was always black. I just hope it doesn't start the sama drama that Sonic's eye color had caused back in the late 90's and early 2000's
