So in the episode “The Golden Lagoon of White Agony Plains!” after Goldie steals the mammoth skull and Scrooge, the boys, & Launchpad rush back to the mansion, Scrooge tells a story about how he was a prospector during the Gold Rush & Scrooge and Goldie get frozen in ice for half a decade. But here’s the thing. Scrooge was born in 1867. 12 whole years after the rush ended!!! To prove this, in the episode, “The Other Bin of Scrooge McDuck!”, (at 2:57 precisely) Webby gets out a book titled, “The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck”, and then she starts reading to Lena. She reads, “Scotland, 1867. A duckling is hatched to humble beginnings.
So what do you think? Was this just an error? Or is there something that The McDucks don’t want us to know?
