We could write very little about Mikey Melon and mostly about Frank Angones' references to him: That he was replaced by Storkules since he was an old colleague of Donald's. As Frank Angones said, Mickey was a detective or a cinema star. We could also write about his universe (Mouseton and Phantom Blot from 2017 and Chief O'Hara and Pete from 1987) and about his cameos in The Duck Knight Returns! , Moonvasion! (as Mikey Melon) and The Last Adventure! .
There is already a page for the Mikey Melon, which can be found here. Any other information about Mickey Mouse in the reboot should go there.
I suggest not putting any additional information about Mickey on the Mikey Melon page. The vote indicated that there should be such a page with Mickey's references and cameos. Or mabe we can create an article about Mickey's Universe (1987-2017).
I don't really see a need for Mickey having an article here, seeing how he was only briefly mentioned once in a comic for the 1987 series (well, aside from his cameos in A Goofy Movie) and he doesn't even exist in the reboot. Granted, he did appear alongside the DuckTales characters in Mickey's Starland Show at the Magic Kingdom as well as in the Walt Disney's World on Ice 10th anniversary show, but those were crossovers that included multiple Disney cartoons and are probably non-canon anyway.
Mickey Mouse wasn't mentioned in a Ducktales comic. Mickey's Universe's characters in Ducktales are Pete, O'Hara, Phantom Blot and hiself. Mickey makes 3 cameos in the Ducktales Reboot and he mentioned many times by Frank Angones.
Also, in a ducktales 1987 comic, Horace, Goofy and Clarabelle maked a cameo.
@Paperinick Yes he was, he was mentioned in "The Arcadian Urn", as printed in Uncle Scrooge #399. Just look at the scan below if you don't believe me.
(I should probably mention, this particular story is being reprinted in Fantagraphics' next Disney Afternoon Adventures volume that's coming out next month. Because the previous volume featured a heavily-rewritten English script for "The Curse of Flabbergé", that's likely going to be the case for "The Arcadian Urn" as well. That, coupled with the "Don't mention Mickey" mandate that was forced on the reboot, indicates the above-pictured panel may be rewritten accordingly, hence why I thought I'd get that out of the way.)
And no, he didn't appear on the reboot; that was just a watermelon puppet in his likeness.
