We don't talk about their trauma enough in my opinion. They have gone through so much, and are probably having an identity crisis. They probably now have trust-and in May and June's case abandonment-issues.
They probably find it so hard with the shift in dynamic and are struggling with it all. Like, my poor babies.
This is why I love the idea of May and June changing their names, it would be symbolic of their new life and kind of reference the major shift in their lives and the fact that they probably feel the need to hide/change who they are because they want to be loved so badly. I think I'd be hard for any of the Duck family to express to May and June how loved they really are, and how they don't need to earn it, and won't lose love if they make mistakes.
