A best friend who almost never wants anything to do with him, an abusive and manipulative narcissist tyrant of a dad who is way to focused on his rivalry with Scrooge, and when he tries to help his friend with his romantic relationship, it only makes it worse and he can't see his help is clearly not wanted, not to mention the only thing his dad Zeus ever did that was good for him was sending him off to grow up and stop being a manchild and even then it probably only had to happen because he wasn't a good dad himself

Who is Ares?

the ancient Greek god of war or, more properly, the spirit of battle. He represented the distasteful aspects of brutal warfare and slaughter. Ares was never very popular, and his worship was not extensive in Greece. He was also seen as a necessary evil amongst the Greeks, who worshiped him when they went to battle but associated his behavior with their enemies otherwise. Ares is most famously known as the God of War. He was the first child of Zeus and Hera, and had a further three siblings: Eileithyia, Hebe and Hephaestus. Athena, the goddess of war, was his half-sister and Storklues (or Hercules specifically who he is based of), the god of Strength of strength and heroes, was his half brother.
