As we see in "The First Adventure" Scrooge receives a message from his sister, Hortanse, where she says that Quackmore had an accident from a prank with dynamite. The same thing happens in an old strip: Donald receives a letter from Della saying that the nephews' father had an accident from a prank with dynamite.
