I think I know where the mixup happened. By "episode 2", I was actually referring to the second half of the series premiere, which is double the length of a normal episode. So it's technically part of episode 1: Woo-oo!, but in the second half, which is also known as "Escape to/from Atlantis!" Sorry for the confusion.
@Talking4flowers the DuckTales reboot series only had three seasons…
It is indeed from episode 2. Should be the scene where Scrooge and Dewey are traversing the rope bridge.
...play area?
I don’t recall it ever being touched on. It wouldn’t surprise me if Donald homeschooled them. Dewey’s concept of school seems to have mostly been based on a fictionalized, High School Musical-esque setup rather than anything real.
He did get his powers back, but FOWL undoubtedly found a way to take them from him again so they could hold him prisoner and then destroy him.
I'm afraid that there aren't going to be any future seasons. The show has been over for several years now, and I doubt it's got the fanbase to convince Disney to bring it back.
Well, that was kind of inevitable. Once the Duck family went through stuff like finding out about Della and the Shadow War, things were going to be more serious. Especially as they then found themselves dealing with the likes of Clan Glomgold, the Moonlanders, and FOWL.
If nobody who actually edits on the Goof Troop wiki is interested in adopting it, I doubt you’ll have any luck finding someone here.
Have you considered adopting it yourself?
Technically speaking, Webby isn’t a “clone” of Scrooge in the same sense as May and June are clones of her. She’s the opposite gender from him, for one thing. I’m inclined to think that they used genetic material from Scrooge and someone else to create her, so that she would truly be Scrooge’s heir. After all, that’s who needed to retrieve the Papyrus of Binding.
By contrast, May and June appear to be exact genetic replicas of Webby. In DNA terms, that makes them siblings. Webby may have been the source of the material used to create May and June, but as the only known source she isn’t technically their “parent.”
We’ve had no word on the reboot other than that it’s “in development”.
I don’t recall the instances in TaleSpin that you’re referring to. But it’s worth noting that TaleSpin Kit and DuckTales Kit are different characters from different continuities. Among other things, one was a preteen in a fictionalized 1930s, whereas the other was likely the same age in the 1990s. There are doubtless many other differences between the two.
2017 Kit probably just lacks natural talent as a pilot. He has only so much ability in that area, beyond which he cannot progress. His rather careless approach to business and life in general may also have negatively impacted his performance.
So we learned in The Great Dime Chase! that the Cogs from Toontown Online are part of the DT17 canon. Had we gotten a season four, it would’ve fun to see them appear as antagonists of a two or three part episode, a story arc, or even the overall season. I think it would also have been a perfect opportunity to bring back Goofy and feature some other characters…
…like Mickey.
Well, I would expect that Kit and Molly would take a role whether the TaleSpin reboot connects to DuckTales 2017 or not. Presumably any update would aim to be more inclusive by making Molly and Rebecca more prominent/active presences in the series, just like DT17 did with Beakley and Webby.
I see it, but comparing it to an actual DuckTales screenshot it seems to me that there are differences:
Exactly, none of which prove anything one way or the other.
@Paperinick and you don’t know that I’m wrong.
We don’t know that ANY of these will be connected to DuckTales 2017. There’s really no reason to expect that they will be.
@Paperinick one: we are not the Scrooge McDuck Wiki. Maybe you would be happier editing over there, since their style seems to line up with yours. Two: that picture looks to have been made using the old DuckTales 2027 character maker game or something like it. It looks pretty spot on, I’ll grant you, but it’s still not an official depiction of Quackmore.
