Atlantis is a location, based on the mythological lost city of the same name.

History

Atlantis was a city that fell into the sea because Merlock the Magician used the powers of Gene the Genie to destroy it, as mentioned in DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp. Scrooge McDuck and his group look for an amount of his money lost at sea. They are captured by Fish Folk and brought to Atlantis where they are given a sentence to 400 years in the ruins of Atlantis by Master Malek. Scrooge's group then raises the island from the water using Gyro Gearloose's Super Fizz, which allows it to float in the sky.
