The Clan McDuck is the Scottish clan of which Scrooge McDuck is a member.
Although the wealthy Silas McDuck erected Castle McDuck to held his large family, the McDucks were forced to leave by the hideous Hound of Castle McDuck. Having spent much of his money on the castle, Silas built Cottage McDuck with what little he had left, and his descendants made it their home for generations, until Scrooge left for America, and the cottage was left deserted.
The clan is related to the American Duck Family.
