Cottage McDuck during Scrooge's childhood
Cottage McDuck is Scrooge McDuck's childhood home in DuckTales 1987.
Built by Scrooge's great-great grandfather Silas McDuck, following Silas and the rest of Clan McDuck being driven away from Castle McDuck by the Hound, Cottage McDuck was the home for Silas descendants for generations, until Scrooge left for America during his youth.
The present state of Cottage McDuck
The cottage appears in two episodes of the series, first in "The Curse of Castle McDuck", where Scrooge and Huey, Dewey and Louie visit it and Scrooge tell about its origin, and then in flashbacks in "Once Upon a Dime", when Scrooge recalls his childhood.
