The DT-87 (voiced by Yuri Lowenthal) is a security system employed by Scrooge McDuck at McDuck Manor in the DuckTales reboot. The name is a nod to the original DuckTales and its start year of 1987.

McMystery at McDuck McManor![]
A DT-87 system panel is found hiding behind Duckworth’s painting, which had been hacked by Mark Beaks so he could access Scrooge's security system and find silly accidents that nobody else was supposed to see. At this point in the series, the security system was only built into the mansion and did not yet have a defense robot.
Day of the Only Child![]
Webby reveals that Scrooge has added a robot to the mansion's security system. Webby later climbs inside the robot and takes control of it in an effort to persuade Dewey that his "Only Child Day" is a bad idea. Unfortunately, her alterations to the robot cause it to go haywire and rampage through the mansion before ending up at the home of Doofus Drake. Fortunately, Huey is able to repair the robot to help him and his brothers escape the crazed Doofus and the Beagle Boys.
GlomTales![]
Della had Gyro reprogram it to keep an eye on Louie so he does not scheme his way to Big Rock Candy Mountain. It is later destroyed by Bouncer Beagle when Clan Glomgold invaded the McDuck Manor.
