Daisy Duck is a character that debuted in Season 3 of DuckTales 2017. She is Donald Duck's girlfriend and Emma Glamour's personal assistant who aspires to become a fashion designer.
Personality[]
Daisy is nice, mostly calm, intelligent, clever, and resourceful. She also has a temper like Donald and can get into rages like him when pushed too far. There is a difference though: when Donald is enraged, he becomes a fast and absolute powerhouse, but when Daisy is enraged, she becomes a skilled attacker.
Before she met Donald, she would never talk back to Emma Glamour, but after witnessing Glamour getting a stern talking to by Donald about how the aftermath of the party had nothing to do with Daisy, she stands up for both of them by exclaiming that people can talk back to Glamour now.
Description[]
Daisy is an anthropomorphic American Pekin Duck, and her height is similar to that of Donald Duck. Her feather color is lighter, and she has a shorter and slightly more orange bill than most other ducks featured on the show. Her hair is styled in a sort of fluffy, soft, and swirly kind of way with a ribbon bow tied around it. She has light-green eye shadow as well as mascara. She carries a handbag which has a similar color to her eye shadow. She wears black high-heeled shoes with bows on them and ankle bands. Daisy has thinner webbed feet.
In the episode "Louie's Eleven!" she has a pink overcoat with black buttons along the front, but when water is spilled on it, she takes it off to reveal a dress she designed to show Emma Glamour. The dress looks to be a sequin dress with a singular shoulder strap on the right side; the base color is a dark blue with big light green lines and a black band around the waist.
In the episodes "New Gods on the Block!" and "The Last Adventure!", she reveals that her main outfit is a long sleeveless pink dress.
History[]
Louie's Eleven![]
Daisy is Emma Glamour's personal assistant, who is ordering people to properly set up an It-list party Glamour only holds once a year at the Duckburg Museum of Natural History. She has a few close calls with leaving Glamour unimpressed for her party perfections such as accidentally setting up Rhododendron flowers, but she still manages to keep the party steady as guests start pouring in. As the party proceeds, Daisy expresses her interest to Glamour about an outfit she prepared, until suddenly a waitress walks by and spills a drink on her coat.
In order to keep herself from being embarrassed in front of Glamour, Daisy leaves the room to clean herself up. Once she's at the elevator and believing no one's around, she smashes a nearby vase to let out her anger and keep herself at ease for her ultimate goal tonight. Unbeknownst to Daisy, Donald Duck suddenly shows up just as the elevator's about to close, and the two ride the elevator together. During the ride, Donald attempts to keep Daisy on the elevator for as long as he can by supposedly tripping over and pressing all the elevator buttons, unknown to Daisy that his true goal is to steal her stage pass.
Suddenly, the elevator comes to a complete halt, which causes Donald's sleeve to become caught on Daisy's handbag. He tries to unhook it, but instead causes both him and Daisy to be tangled further. Once they realize the elevator is broken, both Daisy and Donald begin to shift the blame onto each other for their current conflict. However, when Donald suddenly shouts out about missing his big break, Daisy demands answers, and he confesses about his band's plan set up by his nephew Louie Duck to crash the party and perform their music, much to her shock.
As the night goes on, Donald and Daisy remain stuck in the elevator together, striving to untangle themselves from Daisy's handbag string, and are eventually successful. Due to Daisy's stain on her coat getting worse, she decides to take it off so she won't ruin her dress. When Donald compliments her dress, Daisy is touched and reveals she made it herself and she had hoped Glamour would notice it tonight so she could make it on her It-list and pursue her dreams of becoming a real designer. She once again blames Donald for missing out on her big chance, but she also admits Glamour rarely ever listens to what she has to say.
Donald relates to her struggles because no one ever listens to him either since they never understand what he's saying, even though Daisy claims she can understand him perfectly. Daisy allows Donald to sing her something to let the time go by. He makes up the song "Hear my Voice", which encourages Daisy to snap out of her slump and declare that Glamour will be hearing from both of them tonight. Daisy lowers a roof compartment with a ladder attached to it, and both she and Donald escape from the elevator and make their way back to the party through the ventilation system.
As they look through an open vent to view the party, they realize all the party guests are being held hostage by Falcon Graves, Gabby McStabberson, and Hack and Slash Smashnikov. They notice Glamour attempting to retrieve her phone back from Graves, who says he was hired to sell all her company's assets she had on her phone to the highest bidder. However, unbeknownst to Graves, the buyer is revealed to be another desired It-list maker Mark Beaks, who also happens to be Glamour's son. Suddenly, they are distracted by Dewey Duck's yo-yo performance, which gives Donald and Daisy just enough time to drop down and ambush Graves.
With Dewey now in possession of the phone that slipped out of Graves' hands, an all-out brawl begins with José Carioca, Panchito Pistoles, and Webby Vanderquack joining the fight. When Graves throws Donald to the ground, Daisy becomes infuriated and smashes Graves' head with a vase, knocking him out cold. Nevertheless, Daisy is put into a corner by Glamour herself, accusing her of being responsible for wrecking her party.
Luckily, Donald steps in for Daisy and rants that Daisy had just saved her party rather than ruined it. Although Glamour is originally insulted that both he and Daisy were now speaking to her that way, she is instead impressed they had the guts to do so. Glamour takes a small glance at Daisy's dress and shows admiration for it, and she decides to place it on her It-list. Once all the robbers are arrested and taken away, the party resumes, with Donald and his band members Panchito and Jose performing on stage. Although most of the party guests dislike Donald's singing, with Dewey believing it to be the main reason the band didn't make the It-list, Daisy disagrees, believing she would enjoy listening to his voice all night.
New Gods on the Block![]
Daisy arrives at Donald's house-boat for their second date, only to find Storkules there as well. Storkules disrupts their date, and Daisy sends signals to Donald to suggest that she is dissatisfied with Storkules' interference. Later, Donald and Daisy are about to enjoy a kiss when Storkules pelts them with arrows, causing both of them to fall out of the boat and into the water. Daisy immediately notices that Donald has garbage floating in bags in the water. Appalled by this and by Storkules' behavior, Daisy leaves. She drives away from the manor, all the while reasoning with herself that she should not fall for someone who needs saving. She notices an enormous monolith heading for the manor, and so she turns her car around and drives back to help Donald. She arrives too late to save him as he is swallowed by the Titan. However, she soon discovers that Donald is still alive in the Titan's stomach when she proclaims that the Titan killed him as she called him her boyfriend. Daisy is able to distract the Titan with her yelling while Huey, Dewey, Louie and Webby harness Zeus's powers and use them to stop the Titan. In the aftermath of the battle, Donald and the others who were swallowed by the Titan are freed. Daisy and Donald share a kiss, reconciling with one another, and Daisy and Storkules end up on good terms with one another as well. Storkules hugs both Daisy and Donald as he carries them, leaving with the others.
The Last Adventure![]
Daisy joins in for Webby’s birthday at Funso's Fun Zone, and is playing Skee-Ball alongside Donald and his cousins Fethry and Gladstone, as well as his sister Della. While Della compliments her brother and Daisy's relationship, Fethry accidentally slips up Donald and Daisy's plan to sail across the ocean on their own adventure with Donald's houseboat, much to Della's surprise and frustration. Later at McDuck Manor while Donald is packing up for the trip, Della visits his houseboat and admits her frustrations with seeing Donald leave, especially since she only just returned from Earth and doesn't want to see her brother leave so soon. Donald soon comforts her with a hug, while reminding her he'll always be her brother and that Daisy is his adventure.
On the Sunchaser soon after Donald's departure from the Library of Alexandria and the battle against F.O.W.L., newly turned allies May and June admit their unsureness of where they belong after the death of their mother/creator Black Heron, so Donald decides to phone Daisy and offer to bring some stowaways on their planned trip.

Behind the Scenes[]

However, at the DuckTales SDCC 2019 it was confirmed that Daisy will be introduced during season three. Unlike most other shows she's been in, Daisy has no prior relationship with Donald, and that the show thus has them meeting for the first time.[1]
