The Disney StroryTeller series is a set of illustrated storybooks, sold together with read-along cassette tapes of the story. Four books in the series were created based on the DuckTales 1987 series, each being an adaption of an episode of the series. They were released in 1987, and a collection compilation of all four was released in 1988. Each tape had a 15-minute story, and then the 'DuckTales Theme', on each side. The set had one story for each side, while the individual sold book and tape sets had the same story and theme song on both sides. The stories were adoptions of television episodes, with the original cast, and radio style narration, and some alternate lines read by the cast members of the show.
