Sir Eider McDuck is one of Scrooge McDuck's ancestors, and a member of Clan McDuck in the DuckTales Reboot.
Sir Eider, whose statue stands in front of the rebuilt Castle McDuck, is the earliest member of the Clan to be mentioned in the series, and he was killed defending the Castle from Ango-Saxons - he was deserted by his serfs who thought he was too cheap.[1]
His ghost also appeared alongside other deceased McDucks in "The Secret(s) of Castle McDuck!".
