G. G. 'Goofy' Goof is a character who appeared in the episode "Quack Pack!" He works as a photographer at his studio and is a friend of Donald Duck.

Physical Appearance

Goofy is an anthropomorphic dog who wears white gloves, a white shirt with a long-sleeved orange vest complete with a blue bowtie with red polka-dots on it, brown pants, and long brown shoes.

History

Quack Pack!

In Donald's 90s sitcom-inspired wish fantasy, Goofy is presented as the Duck family's clumsy next-door neighbor who works as a photographer. He enters the house to borrow some ketchup while Donald is figuring out how to get a photographer for a family photo. After some confusion over how he can help, Goofy agrees to take the photo for Donald. When it is revealed the family's life is under the influence of Donald's wish, Goofy goes with Donald when he rejects his family's demands to change everything back. While setting up the photo, Goofy reasons with Donald that sometimes the best family moments aren't so planned and can be spontaneous, sharing photographs of his trip to an amusement park with his son, Max, where they got into trouble but still had a great time. After Donald decides to help his family fight off the wish's inhabitants (imagined as a sitcom audience and various characters), Goofy joins him in taking photographs of all the hijinx. When it comes time to retrieve the magic lamp from a chandelier, Goofy questions how they will get it down, only to get poked in the rear by one of the audience members and fly into the air, knocking down the lamp so Donald can grab it and undo his wish.

When the family returns to the real world, they are surprised to learn Goofy had actually been with them the entire time and wasn't a figment of the wish-world. One of Goofy's photos of the family brawling with the sitcom audience is later framed and hung on Donald's wall as his last wish.

• This version of Goofy is based on his depiction in the 1992 Disney Afternoon series Goof Troop and the 1995 Disney animated movie A Goofy Movie rather than his current design in various Disney Media.
• Goofy has known Donald and the Duck family long before the events of "Quack Pack!".
• Goofy is one of three 'Sensational Six' members to appear in the DuckTales reboot series, with the other two being Donald Duck and Daisy Duck.
• Bill Farmer, the voice of Goofy, is his current voice actor in other Disney works.
• The German Intro of the 1987 series implies that both Pluto and Goofy would appear in this version despite being not the case.
