George Mallardy was a mountaineer introduced in the Ducktales reboot episode "The Impossible Summit of Mt. Neverrest!"
75 years ago, Scrooge McDuck hired Mallardy to help him climb Mt. Neverest. Throughout the trek, Mallardy mocked Scrooge for lagging behind. At one point, he ordered Scrooge to give up some of their belongings, which included Scrooge's money belt. Seeing that he wouldn't do so, Mallardy cut Scrooge loose; Thus earning him the nickname "Neverest Ninny".
After much time though, Mallardy did not make it to the top of the mountain and died.

Trivia[]
- Mallardy's character was inspired by the real-life mountaineer George Mallory, who disappeared while attempting to reach the summit of Mount Everest.
- Thinking he was superior to Scrooge, he always mocked him because he had so many supplies while Mallardy had near to nothing, but when Scrooge and Mallardy had been hung over a cliff, Mallardy ordered Scrooge to lose some of his supplies. When Scrooge refused, Mallardy cut him loose and let him fall. Ever since that moment, no one knowing it was Scrooge, he was called the "Neverest Ninny".
- Before passing away, he made it into a cave and engraved the words "CURSE YOU McDUCK!" after thinking that Scrooge held him back from making it to the top of Neverest.
