Johnny and Randy (both voiced by Keith Ferguson) are the rooster twin brother hosts of Ottoman Empire, an in-universe TV series within the DuckTales reboot.

Personality

Both are lively and welcoming, and they enjoy entertaining viewers with their show. Johnny is the most serious and competent twin, Randy is the more relaxed twin and describes himself as the handsome one. In Season Two, it is implied that Randy and Johnny got into a fight because Randy didn't take the job seriously, resulting in Randy leaving the show.

Physical Appearance

Johnny is the one with white feathers and his twin brother Randy is the one with brown feathers. Johnny and Randy they are overweight roosters, their top clothes are identical, they wear a lavender blouse with their red logo stamped on, they wear pants with Johnny feel in grey and Randy in dark green.

History

They both joined Scrooge's team to save earth from Lunaris. One of Johnny's times outside of hosing the Ottoman Empire is when he was hired by Percival P. Peppington to masquerade as his son to con Doofus Drake out of his gift bags. It fails and Johnny is ejected. In "The Last Adventure!", Johnny and Randy's story within their series comes to a close when they are reunited with their long lost father; a finale that causes both Dewey and Louie to cry at the end. It is later revealed that they, among numerous other characters, were captured by F.O.W.L. in an effort to eradicate all adventure related things from existence.

The brothers are close, business partner and best friends, the two have previously quarreled, but eventually the boys are seen reunited with their father.

Close father and owner of the Ottoman who were thought to have died in fire, but it is later revealed on his show that he is alive.

Louie Duck

Big fan, he hires them to build him an emerald ottoman. At first they refused, but when he offers to pay them both $100 million, they agree.

Abilities

The twins appear little in earnest, however they do show some basic skills.

• Joinery: They make custom puffs, are seen using joinery equipment.
• Show Business: They specialize in how to entertain and persuade people on TV to mind the audience.

Trivia

• Randy may be based on Jonathan Scott and Johnny on Drew Scott, two presenters who are also twins on the Property Brothers show.
• They bear a resemblance to Buck Cluck from the 2005 Disney animated film Chicken Little.
• In an ad showing the Império Ottoman program for a new episode, they briefly appear while Huey is arguing with Della, Scrooge and Louie about why the sitcom audience is laughing at his nephews, much to Huey's surprise upon seeing the ad with a picture of Johnny and Randy beside it. Johnny and Randy's program announcement briefly disappears before it is revealed that the McDuck family is being filmed on camera.
