King Honestus is the king of the lost civilization of Mervana that disappeared into the ocean one day. In reality, he was transformed into a sea monster that attacked the duck family in the DuckTales reboot episode "The Lost Harp of Mervana!" He was voiced by Jeff Bennett.
Personality[]
Honestus is a very laid-back individual who never had any interest in his duties as a ruler. The Lost Harp of Mervana tried to convince him to rule properly so that the mer-people could prosper on both the land and sea, but his selfish attitude caused his society to cower into the sea due to the poor state of their structures on the land. His lack of caring also caused him to be filled with greed over time, and his long periods of time in the sea also caused him to transform into a monstrous sea creature feared by his own citizens. Overall, he is pretty selfish.
