The Medusa Gauntlet is one of the many ancient artifacts that Scrooge McDuck keeps in his garage. It is a glove-like device that allows the wearer to turn any living thing into stone statues. The Medusa Gauntlet first appeared in the Ducktales reboot pilot episode "Woo-oo!" where Scrooge used it to transform a rampaging dragon into stone. It is named for the monster Medusa, whom Scrooge is revealed to have encountered in "Jaw$!"
