Meridian is the former general of the hidden city of Tranquility located on the Moon and father of Lunaris. His fear of the Earth after witnessing mysterious objects being launched from it led him into hiding himself and the rest of the Moonlanders underground. This led to the Moon Mites becoming a major problem to him and his people. Meridian's fear would eventually result in Lunaris trying to invade the earth many years later to prove the moon is superior to the earth.
