Trivia[]
- The alien spaceships have a triangular design, similar to the Imperial cruisers of the Star Wars films.
- When the spaceships first appear, Scrooge quotes references to Back to the Future and the 1956 film version of The Ten Commandments.
- Just as Scrooge and the money bin reach the Earth's atmosphere, Scrooge quotes the Lone Ranger's classic "Hi ho silver" line.
- It was never explained how Scrooge's mansion was returned to him, although it is presumed that the Beagles theft of the money bin was exposed and Ma Beagle's purchases were seized as a result of having been acquired with dirty money.
