Nia Vardalos is a Canadian actress who voiced Selene in "The Spear of Selene!" Her casting as the Greek goddess Selene is something of an in-joke: Vardalos is most known for writing and starring in the acclaimed 2002 romantic comedy My Big Fat Greek Wedding and its sequel. She has written and acted many works including Connie and Clara, I Hate Valentine's Day, My Big Fat Greek Life, and Larry Crowne.

Vardalos has also guest-starred in television shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm, My Boys, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and she voiced Domino in the animated show Team Knight Rider.
