Poe De Spell is the younger twin brother of Magica De Spell in DuckTales 2017.
Background[]
Physical Appearance[]
He is an isometric twin to his sister, Magica De Spell. He is a slender green American Pekin Duck, who has yellow eyes like his sister. They are fraternal twins, as Magica is female, and Poe is male.
Personality[]
Narcissistic and almost as sadistic as his sister Magica, Poe has a more refined demeanor than her. He favored turning the villagers into lesser intelligent animals rather than inanimate or edible objects. He loves treasure, thus can easily be called greedy and selfish, but he is intelligent, able to quickly call Scrooge McDuck out on goading Magica into a fight, and reminding her to focus.
Poe cares for his sister more than anyone or anything else. As he was willing to stand in the way of a spell redirected at her, knowing the consequences of becoming a simple raven.
History[]
In DuckTales 2017, Poe is the evil brother of Magica De Spell, with whom she was very close. He is initially presented as an anthropomorphic duck instead of a raven. Appearing in a flashback in the episode "The Life and Crimes of Scrooge McDuck!", Poe and his twin sister Magica ruled a village together, with the former keeping the latter in check. After Scrooge came to their village, he angered Magica and caused her to accidentally turn Poe into a raven. Lacking the ability to turn Poe back, she begged Scrooge to help her, but he refused, leading to Poe flying away. Magica attempted to find her brother, but was unable to and swore revenge against Scrooge.
Quotes[]
