Beware the B.U.D.D.Y. System![]

A S.H.U.S.H. billboard depicting Vladimir Gryzlikoff appeared in an episode of the Darkwing Duck series during a confrontation between Darkwing Duck, as portrayed by Jim Starling, and several villains.

From the Confidential Casefiles of Agent 22![]

In the 1960s, Bentina Beakley worked for S.H.U.S.H. under the code name "Agent 22". Director Ludwig von Drake, recruited billionaire and freelance agent Scrooge McDuck to team up with Agent 22 and stop F.O.W.L. agent Black Heron from purchasing the recipe of an ancient potion.

Timephoon![]

Mrs. Beakley makes reference to "S.H.U.S.H. chrono-protocol", which had predicted just such a situation as caused by Louie's abuse of the Time Tub.

Escape from the ImpossiBin![]

Beakley mentions S.H.U.S.H., explaining that they had believed F.O.W.L. to have been defeated some years previously.

The First Adventure![]

In the 1960s, Bradford Buzzard is revealed to have been a S.H.U.S.H. employee who advocated for the organization to seize control of the world to reign in disorder and make a profit in the process. Upon having this plan rejected by Ludwig, he frees Black Heron from custody and partners with her to establish F.O.W.L. Years later, S.H.U.S.H. discovers that there is a mole in their ranks. Now Director 22 tasks Scrooge with hunting down the Papyrus of Binding in hopes that he will be able to expose the infiltrator.

The Last Adventure![]

Beakley reveals that, on her last mission for S.H.U.S.H., she nearly succeeded in identifying F.O.W.L.'s director and destroying the organization. However, after finding an infant Webby Vanderquack in their base, she fled the installation just before it self-destructed. She subsequently retired from S.H.U.S.H. and took up residence at McDuck Manor with Webby to insure their safety. Bradford mentions having worked at S.H.U.S.H. as part of his bid to rid the world of adventure, and Director Von Drake is revealed to have been a F.O.W.L. captive for some decades.
