Santa Claus is a magical being who brings gifts to children on Christmas Day.
In the 2017 series, Scrooge McDuck was an enemy of Santa and didn't allow him to visit his mansion and bring gifts. The details of the animosity between Scrooge and Santa were originally unknown until Season 3, when it was revealed that they were once partners and friends until a disagreement came between them. Santa was soon able to make Scrooge understand what Christmas is really about.
History[]
In "Last Christmas!", his appearance is polar bear-like based on an inflatable decoration Scrooge destroys after finding it.
In "How Santa Stole Christmas!", Webby discovers why Scrooge hated Santa in the first place: because he wanted give gifts away for free while Scrooge wanted people buy them. When Santa reunites with Scrooge, he fakes an injury, propping him to help him along with Webby. After Santa reveals his past with Webby, she becomes sad that Christmas was sad for him and Scrooge. When the two discovered Scrooge switched the presents with coal that were meant for the naughty, they confronted him for his actions. Scrooge soon realized the error of his ways and then learns about the fake injury because Santa wanted him to see the true joy of Christmas and be friends just like the old times. Finally understanding that he was willing to sacrifice Christmas to be with Scrooge again and show what Christmas truly means to them, they become friends and partners once more and re-delivered all the presents Scrooge swapped out along with Webby and his family. While re-delivering the presents, Scrooge allows Santa to disarmed all this traps meant for him to welcome him to his home.
