The submarine of Scrooge McDuck is an experimental long-range submersible watercraft he sometimes uses for adventuring out into the open ocean. It is yellow in color and its shape resembles an ocean sunfish. The sub is piloted by Launchpad McQuack and Della Duck.

After realizing how much he enjoys impromptu adventures with his great-nephews and Webby, Scrooge impulsively sets out with them in the sub to explore the lost city of Atlantis on the Drake Barrier Reef.
From the Confidential Casefiles of Agent 22![]
After Black Heron kidnaps Mrs. Beakley, Scrooge sets out in the sub to rescue his former fellow S.H.U.S.H. agent. Webby stows away and is discovered after the sub is too far to turn back.
The Depths of Cousin Fethry![]
After McDuck Manor receives a message from Donald's cousin Fethry but neither Scrooge nor Donald are interested in what he has to say, Huey and Dewey con Launchpad into stealing the sub to visit Fethry at Scrooge's top-secret deep-sea laboratory McDuck Sub Lab of the Future on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, feigning that Scrooge asked them to take the sub out to test its equipment. When Scrooge tries to radio the sub to ask if Launchpad stole it, Dewey swiftly rips out and destroys the radio.
