Seafoam McDuck in the Duck family tree
Captain Hugh "Seafoam" McDuck is one of Scrooge McDuck's ancestors and a member of Clan McDuck.
Seafoam was an 18th-century buccaneer who plundered for treasures.[1]
His ghost appeared alongside other deceased McDucks in "The Secret(s) of Castle McDuck!"
Behind the Scenes[]
- Seafoam McDuck was created by Carl Barks for his 1953 comic story "The Horseradish Story", which was loosely adapted into the DuckTales 1987 episode "Down & Out in Duckburg". His proper name, Hugh, was given by Don Rosa in his work with "The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck".
