Season 3 of DuckTales 2017 aired from April 4, 2020 to March 15, 2021 and includes 20 half-hour episodes, one hour-long special, and a three-part finale. It was also the final season of the show.[2]
Broadcasting
In the United States, the third and final season of the 2017 version of the animated show DuckTales premiered on April 4, 2020 (9:30 a.m. EDT/PDT) on Disney XD and DisneyNow.

During the DuckTales panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, many of the third season characters additions were presented, including several characters from Disney Afternoon and other Disney Television Animation series: Chip, Dale, Gadget Hackwrench, Monterey Jack, and Zipper from Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers; Goofy from Goof Troop; adult versions of Kit Cloudkicker and Molly Cunninghamn from TaleSpin; Gosalyn Waddlemeyer and Taurus Bulba from Darkwing Duck; Rhinokey and Butterbear from The Wuzzles; and Daisy Duck from various Disney productions. Additionally, the rebooted version of Gene the Genie from DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp was shown, as was the full version of Santa Claus, a character which has been referenced since Season 1.
Additional characters were revealed during the season itself, such as the titular protagonist from Bonkers in "Let's Get Dangerous" and an image of Baloo in "The Lost Cargo of Kit Cloudkicker".
