Solego was a mad thinker who believed that every story and work of fiction were windows into alternate dimensions. Using the Solego Circuit, he tried to create doorways into these dimensions. He was first mentioned in the DuckTales (2017) episode "Let's Get Dangerous!"

• Solego originally appeared as the main villain of the Disney Afternoon comic "The Legend of the Chaos God".
• In the reboot, Solego's name is pronounced as "sole-Eggo", but according to his original co-creator David Cody Weiss, the name is actually supposed to be pronounced "sole-ego".
