The Beast in the Board Room!

The Beast in the Board Room! is a DuckTales 2017 comic book story.

Synopsis[]

On a holographic call to his Board of Directors and Gyro Gearloose, Scrooge makes an announcement. Manny the Headless Man-Horse, recently graduated from his Arch Nemesis Rehabilitation program, will stand in for Scrooge at McDuck Enterprises whenever he is off on adventures. In truth, Scrooge merely wishes to punish the board for their constant complaints against him. Unfortunately, during his latest adventure, Manny makes drastic changes at the company, and when Scrooge tries calling him Manny smashes the camera.

Scrooge and Launchpad quickly return to Duckburg, and Scrooge soon confronts Manny. As the board looks on, Scrooge and his old enemy face off, with Scrooge vowing to send Manny back to rehabilitation. Manny emerges victorious, but is then knocked out by Bradford Buzzard, who reveals that he allowed things to go so far only to bring Scrooge back to Duckburg. Scrooge expresses surprise, as he thought Bradford wanted to get rid of him, a suspicion Bradford confirms under his breath.
