The Monsters Are Due at McDuck Manor! is a DuckTales 2017 comic book story, and the first two-part serial, spanning 20 pages.
Synopsis[]
The boys and Webby's attempts to shoot a movie are hampered by their disagreements on the genre. While Louie and Webby want to do a horror film, Huey wants to do a comedy for a Junior Woodchuck badge, and Dewey is uninterested due to his experience with Mallard Hitchcock. Overhearing the dispute, Mrs. Beakley orders the children inside, and decides to try and inspire them by having them watch Vampires vs. Bigfoot.
As Beakley leaves to make popcorn, Dewey begins playing with a strange cube with several protrusions that he found on his bed. Louie claims ownership of it, but Huey grabs it and tosses it, causing it to roll over to the television. The strange device activates, and Webby and Huey find themselves in the movie as vampires. Discovering their predicament, they attempt to escape, but the screen proves an impenetrable barrier.
The two go looking for Dewey and Louie, only to find them transformed into Bigfoots incapable of recognizing them. After making the pair laugh so hard they sit down, they carry them back to the screen, running into which jogs the memories of Dewey and Louie. Louie then reveals that the device was Gyro Gearloose's Multi-Dimensionator, which he stole from Gyro's lab. Before Huey can thrash him, a horde of other Bigfeet arrive, and the kids use their force to break open a portal back to the real world.
