The Third Eye Diamond is a mythical jewel which magnifies cognitive acumen that was used by F.O.W.L. in their Intelli-Ray. It is also one of the missing mysteries Isabella Finch never found. It was at some point discovered by F.O.W.L. and stored in its archives.
During Double-O-Duck in You Only Crash Twice!, Steelbeak and Black Heron, mainly Heron, plan on using the Intelli-ray backwards on Scrooge McDuck. Heron continuously calls Steelbeak stupid resulting in him using the dum-dum switch on the ray to hinder her. When Dewey Duck and Launchpad McQuack escape their jail cells in F.O.W.L's secret Funzo headquarters, Steelbeak accidentally uses the smart side of the ray and Launchpad finds out about F.O.W.L's plans against the family.
