It might start with a 5-part special on a battle to reclaim Duckburg from Glomgold's iron fisted rule.
Predicted plot: Della has been saved from the moon, but the price was high; Donald is badly injured and may not wake up from his coma and Scrooge has lost the wager because he chose to save Della. The family has relocated to Florida to recover from their loss. As Scrooge figures out a way to fight back against Glomgold, Della spends time with the kids at the beach while dealing with the possibilities of Donald not making a recovery.
Opening scene and speech: Board of directors: (addressing a crowd of McDuck employees and Glomgold employees) Attention, McDuck Enterprises employees. Your CEO, Scrooge McDuck had ten years ago searched for Della without success and nearly plunged this company into bankruptcy. Now ten years after, we didn't listen to him, but Scrooge succeeded in his rescue mission! As a result, he lost the wager to Glomgold. (at the balcony, is Fenton and Gyro, silently crying) With this, McDuck Industries has fallen. (Flashbacks of Glomgold's henchmen taking over McDuck properties while Duckburg citizens look with fear) Glomgold then had his agents take over McDuck Enterprise properties, including the banks and factories. And now, meet the new CEO of the merged Glomgold-Mcduck company, FLINTHEART GLOMGOLD! (the Glomgold employees cheer, while the McDuck employees look with fear and sadness)
That would be how liberty seemingly dies, unless Della can make things better...
We may also get introduced to Daisy, her nieces and the nieces' mother at the end of part 1.
