Will Ryan was the long-time voice of Disney villain Pete. In fact, several of the DuckTales characters he voiced are modeled from Pete: Sharkey, Dogface Pete, Captain Blackheart and Captain Pietro. He also voiced Scrooge McDuck in Sport Goofy in Soccermania.

On November 19, 2021, Ryan passed away from cancer related illnesses at his home.
